A Cane Corso names Sweetpea weighing at 145 pounds gave birth to 20 puppies on December 7, at 2 years old! At the last x-ray that was taken of pregnant Sweetpea it was shown she was to have a litter or 10, so they thought. Owner Christy Six was in shock that her corso gave birth to a litter close to the world record's largest litter of 24. According to the Akron Beacon Journal Sweetpea was in labor starting early morning, with her first pup being born at 5:50, and the last pup being born at 12:45 (according to examiner.com).
